Where does the name Webhaven come from?
The name Webhaven carries a deeper meaning. I grew up in Zeebrugge, a charming coastal town in Belgium, nestled beside a bustling harbor.
The sea has always held a special place in my heart, symbolizing both stability and endless possibility. The name “Webhaven” is a homage to these roots, blending my love for the ocean with my passion for the digital world.
Why did you create Webhaven?
Over the past 15 years, I observed a significant amount of waste in the process of building websites and web applications.
Webhaven was born out of a desire to streamline this process, ensuring that every new project starts with a minimum of inefficiency and a maximum of effectiveness. It’s about doing more with less, focusing on what truly matters, and delivering results that last.
Next to that I also wanted to create a durable, future-proof solution. In a world where technology is constantly evolving, it’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of building, launching, and rebuilding. Webhaven is designed to break this cycle, offering a platform that’s robust and adaptable.
