Introducing Drupal Canvas, the future of page building in Webhaven

What is Drupal Canvas?

Drupal Canvas is a new, and visual way to build pages in Drupal.

It's a drag-and-drop builder that will change how we create content in Drupal.

Drupal Canvas is going to be released in november 2025 but I've already tested it extensively and I'm very impressed with how it works and what it means for the future of Drupal.

How it improves page building

Canvas lets you design directly on the page. You can add, rearrange, and style components visually seeing exactly how your content will look as you create it.

It’s built on top of Drupal’s powerful foundation with a smooth and modern interface. Canvas brings real-time previews, easier component editing, and a fluid, creative workflow that feels more like a design tool than a CMS.

For editors using Webhaven this means faster page building, fewer technical barriers, and a more enjoyable way to create polished, on-brand experiences.
